1. Grabbagreen Food + Juice

Grabbagreen Food + Juice is a fantastic place to check out for clean eating. They have locally-sourced when possible, everything is responsibly sourced proteins. Fresh juice and 100% whole foods! You can start with their pre-selected menu options or if you want you can create your own!

To create your own they have wonderful carbohydrate bases, such as quinoa and brown rice. Then you add your protein and we love their selection, from chicken to edamame. They have great nutrients and dairy. Finally, you top it off with your favorite sauces and herbs.

They have everything for the whole family too. A well-balanced kids meal and fantastic juices and smoothies the little ones will love! Another wonderful thing they have is elixirs to help with everything from your gut to your immune system.

2. First Watch-Cool Springs

First Watch is one of the upscale healthy restaurants with a twist on American classics. They use cage-free eggs for the base of their breakfasts. Adding delicious sides such as smoked wild-caught sockeye salmon to their eggs benedicts. With wonderful healthy fats to top off a breakfast classic.

Another wonderful recommendation to try at First Watch is their morning market veg. With a delicious combination of roasted zucchini, mushrooms, shallots, tomatoes, superfood kale, and some fantastic goat cheese all this topped with fresh herbs.

If you’re looking for a protein-packed breakfast they have a delicious smoked salmon and roasted vegetables frittata. This would be a great balanced meal to dive into after a long morning run or a date with the weights. Wild-caught smoked sockeye salmon, with ciabatta toast, mixed greens, parmesan cheese, and a chive cream drizzle just makes your taste buds dance.

3. Jason’s Deli

Jason’s Deli has a slogan: “all good things start with wholesome ingredients”. This is so true. They are not only a delicious deli, but they also have vegetarian and gluten-free options. In addition to sandwiches and wraps, they have soups, salads, pasta, and potatoes.

Their vegan options have salads, spinach veggie wraps, steamed veggies (steaming keeps the nutrients locked in over boiled) and delicious chips and dips. Their menu includes many organic options in addition to gluten-free and vegan options.

4. Zoe’s Kitchen

Zoe’s Kitchen is one of the healthy restaurants that have a variety of food. Their kid’s menu has well-balanced choices. From your basic grilled chicken fingers to salmon or shrimp kabobs. They also have meals tailored just for families. From kabobs to chicken and even falafels. Their choices are right off the Mediterranean diets menu.

Their salads and soups are a must-have. Another well balanced, delicious choice is their avocado lentil or their quinoa salads. They are mixed with clean carbs and delicious healthy fats along with your vegetable favorites.

5. Burger Up Franklin

Our ancestors ate meat, now we eat burgers! The meat found at Burger Up Franklin is locally sourced. This does not only give you better quality meat but also is much more sustainable and great for the environment! Their avocado burger has wonderful fresh spinach, with caramelized onions and grilled avocados. Just take away the buns and you’ve got a wonderful keto inspired meal full of flavor.

They also have a mouth-watering marathon burger which is made from quinoa and black beans topped with lettuce, tomato, onion and creme fraiche. Then there’s their impossible burger for our vegan-friendly friends.

6. Brown Bag Cool Springs

Brown Bag Cool Springs has a fish favorite. This is one of the healthy restaurants that have grilled fish tacos with mango salsa. Another mouth-watering dish that gives you low calories, clean protein and a wonderful taste in your mouth wanting you coming back for more. Their vegetarian and vegan options, from salads to grilled and sauteed vegetables to mashed potatoes. They have a wonderful variety for everyone.

7. Noodles and Company

This is an Asian inspired delight! They have a must-have zucchini pesto with grilled chicken or you can get zucchini shrimp scampi. Noodles and Company has gluten-free options for our sensitive stomachs.

Also, they have traditional Japanese pan noodles that are low calorie and delightful. If noodles aren’t your thing, they have Asian inspired salads and soups.

8. Healthy Sushi

Healthy Sushi is your place for the mouth-watering sushi you’ve been craving. They only use wild-caught fish and whenever possible organic vegetables. If you’re feeling a bit adventurous we recommend that you try the baby octopus salad for your appetizer. 

When it comes to healthy fats nothing beats wild-caught salmon and avocado, which Healthy Sushi combines them together with their spicy sauce and you have a masterpiece!

9. Herban Market

At Herban Market they promise the community they support that they use foods that are GMO, artificial coloring, artificial sweeteners, and chemical-free. They take the burden of shopping for clean ingredients out of your busy day.

While you’re enjoying a delightful wild keta salmon you can write up your grocery list and finish up with a little shopping for dinner. Or take a couple of carne asada tacos to go for the family and friends coming over for Taco Tuesday!

10. BrickTop’s

BrickTop’s dinner menu has a variety of foods to choose from. They range from wonderful seafood, such as ahi tuna steaks or grilled trout, to American classic BBQ pork ribs. If you’re looking for a keto special try their ribeye substituting the creamy potatoes with some broccoli. 

If you’re looking for a clean protein and healthy fat look no further than their Atlantic salmon or ahi tuna steak.

Their lunch menu has some wonderful salads, such as their beet and goat cheese. They also have a wonderful keto-friendly bistro chicken, just replace the side of potatoes with extra spinach. If you’re looking for a clean meal try their fish tacos. They are blacked fish of the day topped with cheddar, avocado, and cilantro.
